Experiment

NEFA, Leptin, Insulin, Adiponectin levels of PGT KO mice on C57/SV129 Mix
genetic background; MVSAECM0316
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Schuster, Victor
Description This mice is the prostaglandin transporter (PGT) knock-out mice. PGT is
responsible for prostaglandin turn-over in mammals. The PGT-KO mice have ~2x
increase in systemic prostaglandins. We are studying the effect of
prostaglandins on adipocyte biology.

The PGT KO mice have ~1/3 the body fat compared to the WT floxed controls, while
having double the food intake.
