Circulating inflammatory markers in B6 mice fed high fat diet and treated with
AM6545

Description AM6545 is a cannabinoid receptor 1 antagonist which will inhibit food intake and
improve metabolic function in diet-induced obese mice.

Mice born 7/17/16. Arrived to UCR 9/6/16. After acclimation, mice were fed ad
libitum standard chow or high fat diet for 60 days. Mice were single housed;
food intake and fecal output were measured daily. After 60 days, mice were
injected IP with either vehicle (DMSO and Tween80 in saline 2:1:97) or AM6545
(10 mg/kg) for a period of 14 days. Mice were sacked and organs collected, blood
was collected in EDTA tubes, spun down, and plasma removed. Samples were
immediately frozen at -80 degrees.
