Circulating lipid measurements in B6 mice fed high fat diet and treated with
niclosamide

Description The mice for this study are male C57BL6/J mice from Jackson lab. Start from 8
weeks of age, they were randomized into two groups. One group contains 6 mice,
were fed with the high-fat diet (60%kcal fat) D12492 from the Research Diets,
Inc., the other group contains 9 mice, fed with the same diet but treated with
1500 p.p.m. niclosamide, at a dose about 150 mg/kg body weight .day. The mice
were kept on the diet for 4 weeks. We then collected the blood samples after a
16-hour fast, plasma are EDTA prepared.
