Description Determine the effect of high fat diet on energy expenditure and body composition
of Nav1.8-LepR(fl/fl) (knockout of LepR in sensory neurons) mice
(B6.129-Leprtm1Rck Scn10atm2(cre)Jnw). Nine (9) Nav1.8-LepR(fl/fl) and nine (9)
control animals (B6.129-Scn10a [nav1.8-cre]) are placed on high fat
diet for X weeks (ad lib). At which tie energy expenditure and body composition
will be assessed by indirect calorimetry and DEXA.
