Sable Energy Balance #22441 9/25/17
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Thompson Gray, Analisa
Description Energy expenditure measured by indirect calorimetry in the Promethion by Sable
Systems. Activity, food intake and water intake are also continuously measured.
Measurements were taken for 12 consecutive days.
Running wheels were not present in the cage.
This was a temperature study. The temperature started at 21 degrees Celsius for
the first 7 days. It was changed to 4 degrees Celsius for the last 5 days of the
run. The days the temperature was at 21 degrees Celsius are indicated by Sable
Run 1 and the days the temperature was at 4 degrees Celsius are indicated by
Sable Run 2.
Mice were fed ad libitum.
Water: regular tap water, ad libitum.

Groups:
Male and Female, WT(C57BL/6) and Delta 3(B6.D1-Snap25tm1Hamm) mice.
Mice were fed a chow diet (LabDiet PicoLab Rodent Diet 5LOD).
